Inhuman

We are devout
Shunning those without
By not believing
They choose to be unclean
All they have to do is believe
Confess and become clean
All they have to do is concede
Inject and become clean

Their choices have made them inhuman
They don’t belong with everyone else
This justifies what we do to them
Because they brought this on themselves

We don’t ask why
By faith and not by sight
And so we despise
Those who use their eyes
All they have to do is believe
The truth we all receive
All they have to do is concede
Reject the things they’ve seen

Their choices have made them inhuman
They don’t belong with everyone else
This justifies what we do to them
Because they brought this on themselves

If they have reason
We have only blame
If they have conscience
We have only shame

Our choices have made us inhuman
We have forgotten everyone else
We justify what we do to them
Knowing we’ve done the same ourselves
